Patewood Memorial Hospital

Greenville Hospital System

University Medical Center
Greenville, South Carolina

A wonderful feature of this all-new hospital originated when the Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center chose to support green building and patient satisfaction, and elected to place a “green” roof atop a portion of the hospital. Visible to patients and employees, the grass roof consists of a waterproof roof system, six inches of special lightweight soil and fescue sod landscape.

Project Completion: 2007
