One of the essential elements — and deemed a best practice — of the BE&K Building Group safety program is the job hazard analysis (JHA). The JHA is the key to pretask planning and is a major contributing factor in enabling employees to safely perform and complete that assigned task with the minimal amount of risk.

In response to the increased number of Spanish-speaking team members, we have taken steps to ensure that key policies — written and verbal — are available in Spanish. The entire safety orientation process has been translated into Spanish. Also, we ask that each subcontractor provide one employee on site who has the ability to communicate quickly with the Spanish-speaking members of his team in the event of an emergency. All signs and notifications are posted in both English and Spanish.
