Through people committed to commercial, healthcare, industrial
and institutional construction, the BE&K Building Group
is able to offer value-added services to select clients throughout
its operating areas.
Headquarted in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Building Group has commercial operations in Atlanta, Birmingham, Charlotte,
Greenville (SC), Houston, Nashville, Orlando, Raleigh and Washington. Each office has strong local management and is responsible for local contract relationships. Regional relationships with larger subcontractors and vendors are maintained as well, together with relationships with design professionals and local regulatory authorities.
The Building Group is a diversified company with project
capability in a number of market sectors; however, it strategically
focuses on a limited number of sectors in which its highly
trained and experienced people have compiled records of success with specialized project delivery.
Although the Building Group focuses on a specific geographic area, we are strategically positioned to operate in other parts of the country to accommodate our clients’ building programs. The vast majority of our projects are for repeat clients, and most of our projects are won on the basis of the qualifications, experience and the client-driven values of our people.
Historically, a significant amount of our work has been executed
utilizing the design-build delivery approach. The BE&K Building Group has completed over 750 design-build projects. Our firm is nationally recognized
for its design-build expertise, exemplified by more than 30
years of proven experience and our leadership role as a founding
member of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA).
We are also well known for maintaining long-term relationships,
with 85% of our assignments the result of repeat business. In
fact, our history includes more than 100 years of delivering
outstanding value to clients, compiling and maintaining an enviable
safety record along the way. In addition, we have an excellent
diversity record among construction managers in the Southeast
and one of North Carolina’s best Historically Underutilized
Business (HUB) programs. |
