Through people committed to commercial, healthcare, industrial
and institutional construction, the BE&K Building Group
is able to offer value-added services to select clients throughout
its operating area.
In addition to its Charlotte headquarters, the BE&K Building
Group has commercial operations in Atlanta, Birmingham, Charlotte,
Greenville (SC), Nashville, Orlando, Raleigh and Washington,
D.C. Each office has strong local and regional relationships
with subcontractors and vendors as well as design professionals
and local regulatory authorities.
The BE&K Building Group is a diversified company with project
capability in a number of market sectors; however, it strategically
focuses on a limited number of sectors in which its highly
trained and experienced people have compiled records of success with specialized project delivery.
Market sector groups often work outside the area of the BE&K
Building Group’s geographic focus, as do groups from local
offices because of strong relationships with clients requiring
construction services in areas outside our geographic focus.
The vast majority of our projects are for repeat clients, and
most of our projects are won on the basis of the qualifications,
experience and the client-driven values of our people.
Historically, a significant amount of our work has been executed
utilizing the design-build delivery approach. Through entities
now part of the BE&K Building Group, our firm has completed
over 750 design-build projects. Our firm is nationally recognized
for its design-build expertise, exemplified by more than 30
years of proven experience and our leadership role as a founding
member of the Design-Build Institute of America.
We are also well known for maintaining long-term relationships,
with 80% of our assignments the result of repeat business. In
fact, our history includes more than 100 years of delivering
outstanding value to clients, compiling and maintaining an enviable
safety record along the way. In addition, we have an excellent
diversity record among construction managers in the Southeast
and one of North Carolina’s best Historically Underutilized
Business (HUB) Programs. |
