Raleigh Employees Show Compassion for Firefighters on 9/11 Anniversary
September 12, 2008 - On Tuesday, September 9, one of the Raleigh-Durham area's local firefighters, Eric Rozier, was critically injured in a training exercise on Jordan Lake. He sustained serious head injuries in the accident and was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) at the UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Two days later, on the seventh anniversary of 9/11, BE&K Building Group employees showed their compassion for Eric Rozier and his family, and remembered our nation's fallen fire fighters of 9/11, by serving lunch in the ICU waiting room where Durham County firefighters and others were holding an ongoing vigil. Participating Raleigh office employees included Joe Raimondi, project executive, and John Dickerson, project engineer.
